Just a quick one. This sweet dog visited us last weekend, so I just had to pull out my camera. I haven’t experimented much with pet photography, but this cutey may have spoiled me if I ever get into it! She was so calm and still for the photos!

Last year’s self-portrait project has been replaced by a monthly stock photo project. This month’s theme was suggested by Tumblr’s Sara, of saraplainandtall. It was a winter/ rain suggestion, which go hand in hand here. My vision was of bright little boots in a reflective puddle, but with kids, you often just have to go with the flow. You can see more from this shoot on my blog

My last post featured my final self-portrait/ group photo, after a monthly series of ridiculous photo shoots. This one, however, was the best! Several friends came out to be in the photo, along with the gingerbread house that I spent a few weeks working on. The result was awesome! This photo just shows the close ups of everyone in the photo. The full image is really cool too!

See how this photographic illusion was done:

Using forced perspective photography, we made this gingerbread house look like a fun new building in Seattle! Thanks to all who helped out. You were all awesome! Happy holidays!

One of my favorite shots from this Mexican themed wedding in Enumclaw, WA. In memory of our short summer here in the Northwest.

In honor of Movember AND so that I can take the suggestions of two fans, I offer you two similar, yet different self-portraits for this month.

One is simply “holding onto fall”, which is basically a fall appreciation photo.

The other is to support the campaign for men’s health. What does that have to do with a moustache? Well, check out Movember at http://us.movember.com/about/about-campaign !
